CIVIC CITY SPORTS

Civic City Sports Alliance is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to American communities that stand to benefit from social innovation as much as ever. With their origins in underserved minority communities, many of our members have spent their careers in NPO spheres seeking opportunities for engagement, education and relief where it’s most needed. We are deeply proud to have founded CCSA as a wellspring for positive relations between underserved communities and local law enforcement through sports, recreation and hopeful connections.

The Community Need

Crime, suspicion and fear are common characteristics of the relationship between underserved communities and law enforcement all across America. From broken futures to perpetuity of disadvantage, social disconnects between the community and the people they depend on for protection have consequences that resonate through the fabric of our culture.

Our Solution

Through the fun, simple and peaceful activity of sports, we create profoundly positive effects on complex issues historically rooted in a lack of awareness, understanding and connection between communities and their law enforcement members.

To form trusting bonds and create lasting relationships between communities and their law enforcement for everyone’s safety, the betterment of quality of life, and the future of its members.

Our Goal

To form a nationwide coalition of sports tournaments spanning urban and rural America where community and law enforcement members have the opportunity to move up in the ranks, bring publicity to the events, and become national representatives of community engagement.
